A Quest For Wealth Were Life Is Currency

Vincenzo, or Vince, Covino is from Boise idaho.

Vince and his brother Ammon became notorious wildlife traffickers opening their first aquarium in 2010 and violating animal welfare laws while countless animals perish.

Vince now owns multiple interactive menageries across the United States, each littered with state and federal violations, license suspensions, fines, and cease and desists. Despite these continuous citations and fines Vince remains steadfast in his pursuit for wealth through animal abuse. Still operating multiple interactive aquariums around the United States with plans of expanding globally. Vince recently stepped down as CEO of Seaquest after 12 years. This was after a national investigation by ABC News aired exposing animal welfare violations and other crimes. Vince became a millionaire at his facilities through animal exploitation. Their quest has involved trafficking, poaching, illegal breeding, and endless lawsuits.

How many more animals need to die before Vincenzo Covino is charged for his crimes?

A bloody Quest for wealth

Ammon Covino is Vince's brother and partner in crime. Ammon is the founder of the Portland Aquarium where their Quest started in 2010. Their first Quest resulted in Ammon, Christopher Conk, and their nephew, Peter Covino, were charged for wildlife trafficking in 2013. Ammon was sent to prison for to a year and a day in prison followed by two years of supervised release. As part of his probation, the judge ordered him “not [to] engage in any activity that involves exhibiting, importing, exporting, transporting, selling, receiving, acquiring or purchasing in interstate or foreign commerce any fish or wildlife.”

Ammon has been in and out of prison for violating these terms, working directly with their aquariums and animals. Nothing seems to stops this convicted wildlife trafficker from buying, selling, and exhibiting wildlife though as he works at 3 of his wife's interactive aquariums and SeaQuest.

Crystal Covino

Owner/CEO

Ammon's wife Crysty owns all three aquariums in Texas after Ammon was barred from working with wildlife. However, animal rights group and former employees argues that "Crystal’s involvement appears to be a means for Ammon to contravene federal law prohibiting him from obtaining a license to exhibit animals."
